Late to the party again. Come to think of it, that's the story of my life lately. Anyway, it seems that Jeff Goldstein at proteinwisdom had a commenter actually threaten harm to his kid. After reading about it (and after waiting a couple of hours for my blood pressure to return to normal; not an easy feat at my age), I have to say that Jeff shows remarkable restraint. If some rat bastard felt the need to threaten one of MY kids that way, he or she had better dig a deep, deep hole and hide in it until I'm dead, because G-d Himself would not stop me from tracking that individual down and doing severe bodily harm to him or her. (I know, I was raised not to hit women, but anyone who threatens my kids has automatically lowered him/herself to animal level, not human, and the gloves will definitely come off.) I don't believe I have anything to worry about here, since practically no one reads this stuff (I mean, how many people want to read about someone else's problems?), and I tend to stay away from political issues if at all possible, but just in case, don't say I didn't warn you.

(Just in case the two or three readers I have are curious, I'm a conservative. How can you tell? I have a job.)

Went to a wedding on Saturday and took the whole family. Think about that for a minute. Everybody went. And y'all thought D-Day was a logistical nightmare. Anyway, we had a great time at the wedding and the reception afterwards, and the kids actually behaved themselves. Hmmm . . . the kids behaved. OK, that proves it, I'm still asleep and dreaming. I'll wake up soon and find out that things were normal. (Yes, I'm being nasty. I'm allowed now and then.)
Comments:
LOL, I took my boys to a wedding last year and they picked up the flower girls, who were also twins.

Beavis and Butthead behaved?

Yay! :)
