Wow! It's been a whole month since I last entered anything in here. I guess Trojan Horseshoes probably dropped me from the North State Blogs, and I wouldn't blame him a bit if he did. It's been a busy month.

Hope everyone had a happy July 4th holiday! Mine was a bit hectic (and this is news?). I finally got Beelzebub shipped off to Parris Island, SC for Marine boot camp. Got a letter from him the other day; the guy loves boot camp! Told you he was sick.

We celebrated my mother-in-law's 75th birthday earlier this month. It was on the same weekend that I was scheduled to attend the Knights of Columbus organizational meeting in Durham. So I spent the weekend shuttling between Wendell, Durham, Holly Springs (the bro-in-law's house where the wingding was held on Saturday night) and Cary (the in-law's house where the wingding was held on Sunday). I'm still recuperating after three weeks. That was a lot of driving for yours truly.
